What we do

Perspective Detective Studio is a studio for investigation. We help people get better at observing carefully, asking good questions, and discovering what they could not see before. Our books, workbooks and activities are how we do that work, through stories, questions and different perspectives.

We don’t tell you what to think. DET and CW investigate the way you might: they notice what is there before deciding what it means, they check their own assumptions, and they leave the final answer with you.

Our mission

Observe. Investigate. Discover. This is the practice we follow, and it never really ends. Each discovery opens the next thing to observe.

Our vision

A world where curiosity is valued above certainty, investigation above assumption, and understanding above division. The goal is not agreement. It is a greater awareness.

What we make

Books and stories for every age, from early readers to adult. Workbooks and printables for children learning at home. Activities and puzzles that invite people to look again.

The people behind it

Daniel and Erika are homesteaders who homeschool their own children. We make this work for our own family, and for other families who want to look closely at the world together.
