Who we are
Perspective Detective Studios publishes books, workbooks and activities. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or join our email list, and how we use it.

What we collect
- Email list: when you join, we collect your email address, and a record of when and how you signed up and whether you agreed to receive emails.
- Purchases: if you buy a digital download, the payment and delivery are handled by Payhip. We do not store your card details.
- Website visits: our website host may keep basic technical records, such as the page you visited and the browser you used.
How we use your information
We use your email address to send the free sample you asked for, and to tell you when new books, workbooks or activities are ready. We send a few emails a month, never more. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone outside the services listed below.
Consent and unsubscribing
You must tick the consent box before you join the list. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We keep a record of your consent so we can show when you agreed.
Services we use
- MailerLite, to manage the email list and send emails.
- Payhip, to sell and deliver digital downloads.
- Amazon, when you follow a link to buy a book. Amazon’s own privacy policy applies there.
- YouTube, for podcast episodes embedded on our site. YouTube’s own privacy policy applies there.
- Our website host and security and SEO tools, which may keep basic technical records.
Children
Our books and activities are made for children, but this website and our email list are for parents, teachers and other adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Canadian visitors have rights under Canada’s privacy laws, and US visitors may have rights under US state laws. To use these rights, contact us at the address above.

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
